A worn insole tells a lot about a person's feet and how the shoes fit .  We can use the wear on the insole to determine exactly where additional arch and/or metatarsal support might be needed.  We then can provide you with gentle support for the new shoes being purchased.  Typically, this is done by cementing appropriate material onto the areas needing support, and then grinding the material to the appropriate thickness.

We can also grind away material in high pressure points especially in the metatarsal head area.  This technique is best performed with a quality insole such as that which comes with Finn Comfort and Mephisto Mobils shoes.
