Custom Molded Orthotics
If you have a foot deformity, a severe foot problem, or an extremely high or low arch, custom orthotics may be right for you. It is best to discuss this option with your doctor. |
At The Foot Comfort Store, we usually start with a foam impression of both feet. Plaster is then poured into the impressions to create a positive mold of your feet. Once we have the positive, we can form any heat moldable material over the cast. we usually combine materials so that your foot will be next to a soft layer, while the supportive layer will be firm. |

Orthotics can be made to fit in almost any shoe, but they will function best in shoes that have a removable insole, are deep cut, and straight lasted. We have pre-selected a variety of shoes that we have found work better with orthotics. Click here for some of those shoes. |
